Women's Water Polo Drops Conference Opener to Princeton

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's water polo (2-3, 0-1 CWPA) fell to No. 8 Princeton (4-0, 1-0 CWPA) by a score of 17-11 on Friday night.
Aubrie Anderson and Hanna Tidrenzcel led the Bears in scoring, netting four and three goals apiece. Alexandra Love, Emmy Hensley, Samantha Kim, and Cleo Washer were behind Brown's other four points.
Brown trailed Princeton throughout the first half, netting 5 goals to the Tigers' 10 by halftime. Brown brought in one more goal in the third quarter before rallying to outscore Princeton in the final period, but it was ultimately not enough to come out on top.
UP NEXT
The Bears will head to Cambridge on Saturday to take on the Crimson Classic, with matchups against UC Santa Barbara, LIU, and Villanova on the docket. All three games will be streamed on ESPN+.
