Women's Water Polo Hosts Princeton; Travels to Crimson Classic

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's water polo will play host to Princeton on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. at the Katherine M. Coleman Aquatics Center. The game against the Tigers will be streamed on ESPN+.
Brown will then head to Harvard over the weekend for three games. The Bears will take on UC Santa Barbara (11:40 a.m.) and LIU (6:30 p.m.) on Saturday, before finishing the weekend against Villanova on Sunday at 11:40 a.m. All three games will also be streamed on ESPN+.
Friday's game is White Out with fans encouraged to wear white to support the Bears. The first 100 fans in attendance will also receive two slices of pizza.
Brown is coming off a 2-2 weekend in the Bruno Classic beating Villanova and Iona. The Bears fell to both No. 12 Indiana and No. 24 Pacific by one goal.
Over the weekend, the Bears were led in scoring by both Samantha Kim and Ava Schoening with 11 goals each. Kim was named CWPA Player of the Week and Schoening earned Rookie of the Week honors.
Princeton comes into the matchup ranked No. 8 in the nation with a 3-0 record having beaten La Salle, LIU and Wagner. Kayla Yelensky leads the Tigers with 11 goals. Lindsey Lucas is tops in saves with 28 saves in three games.
Brown will be looking for its first win against Princeton since 2010. Last season, Brown dropped three games against Princeton, twice by two goals and once by three goals.
UC Santa Barbara is ranked No. 15, LIU is ranked 25th and Villanova is receiving votes in the most recent poll.
