Men’s Basketball Visits Columbia on Saturday

NEW YORK, N.Y. - The Brown men's basketball team (10-9, 2-4) will visit Columbia (11-8, 0-6) on Saturday, tip-off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at Levien Gymnasium.

Last Time Out
Brown suffered a 69-49 loss at Princeton (Feb. 1), Kino Lilly Jr. scored a game-high 18 points on 6-14 shooting from the floor and 4-8 shooting from three-point range.
History Made, The Chase Continues
Kino Lilly Jr. is the all-time leader in program history with 312 three-pointers made. Lilly Jr. also sits second all-time in career points with 1,768, he is 274 points away from being the all-time program scoring leader.
Ivy Iverson
Lilly Jr. is averaging 19.1 points per game on 41.7 percent shooting from the field and 43.9 percent shooting from three-point range, he is also shooting 50.0 percent from distance through six Ivy League games.
The senior is averaging 3.79 three-pointers per game and is on pace to hit 102 triples, which would break Brown's single season record of 93 set by Sean McGonagill during the 2013-14 season. His pace would put him third in Ivy League history for three-pointers made in a single season.
Lilly Jr.'s 3.79 three-pointers per game ranks second in the nation, his 72 total three-pointers sits 13th nationally, and his 19.1 points per game ranks 32nd nationally. His 312 career triples ranks 15th nationally among active players.
Kino's Big Weekend
At Penn (Jan. 31), Kino Lilly Jr. netted a career-high 34 points on 8-9 shooting from three-point range, eight three-pointers was a career-high. The senior hit his first five three-point attempts and hit seven triples in the first half. Seven triples matched his career-high for a full game.
Lilly Jr.'s 88.9 three-point percentage against the Quakers was the ninth-highest mark nationally this season. He also shot 8-9 from the free throw line.

The Glenn Dale, Md. native was named Ivy League Co-Player of the Week after averaging 26.0 points per game on 50.0 percent shooting from the field and 70.6 shooting from three-point range.
Cooley Continues To Impress
Aaron Cooley is averaging 11.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per game, the senior has double-figure scoring efforts in 13 out of 19 games and has recorded double-digit scoring efforts in four consecutive games.
Cooley scored a career-high 28 points in Brown's 83-82 win at Cornell (Jan. 20), he also had a career-high 10 field goals made against the Big Red.
Cooley's 28 points was the most by a Bear this season. The Roxbury, Mass. native shot 10-13 from the floor and 3-3 from three-point range; all three of Cooley's triples came in the first half. Cooley shot a perfect 4-4 from the floor in the second half while grabbing seven total rebounds.
Cooley also had a career-high 15 rebounds in Brown's season opener at Siena (Nov. 4). Cooley's 15 rebounds is the third-most by an Ivy League player this season, he's recorded double-digit rebounds in four games.
Cooley is shooting 46.7 percent from the floor this season and is shooting 46.6 percent in Ivy League play.
Lesburt's Big Stretch
Alexander Lesburt Jr. has hit three or more three-pointers in four out of six Ivy League games and has hit five or more in two Ivy League games.
Against Harvard (Jan. 18), Lesburt Jr. shot 4-10 from the floor and 3-8 from three-point range. Lesburt Jr. then shot 4-6 from the floor at Cornell (Jan.20) and three-point range 3-4 from distance, including a perfect 3-3 from three-point range in the second half.
Lesburt Jr. hit five first half three-pointers against Dartmouth (Jan. 25) and finished with six three-pointers made. It was the second time this season the Derry, N.H. native made six triples in a game this season. He also shot 6-9 from the floor and 5-7 from three-point range at Penn (Jan. 31).
Lesburt Jr. is averaging 13.6 points per game over the last five games and is shooting 45.2 percent from distance in Ivy League action.
Senior Leadership
Over the last seven games, Lyndel Erold is shooting 26-48 from the floor and has recorded double-digit scoring efforts in four out of six Ivy League games.
Erold matched a then career-high 15 points in Brown's Ivy League opener at Yale (Jan. 11) on 5-8 shooting, Erold then had 11 points on 5-9 shooting at Cornell. Erold followed up his performance at Cornell with a career-high 20 points with four three-pointers made against Dartmouth.
At Penn (Jan. 31), Erold grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds, eight of which were defensive. He also had two blocks for the Bears in the final 3:24 of the contest, helping Brown earn the victory. Erold is shooting 45.8 percent from the floor and 39.3 percent from three-point range in Ivy League action.
Rochester Rising
David Rochester has played over 15 minutes in four out of the last five games, he leads all Brown freshmen with 15.5 minutes per game in Ivy League action.
Rochester has also logged over 20 minutes in three Ivy League games, he is averaging 5.7 points on 41.7 percent shooting from the field and 50.0 shooting from three-point range in Ivy League action.
Rochester is shooting 41.7 percent from the floor and 50.0 percent from distance in Ivy League action; he's also shooting 83.3 percent from the free throw line.
Scouting Columbia (11-8, 0-6)
Columbia welcomes Brown seeking its first Ivy League victory of the season; the Lions have lost seven consecutive games after beginning the season 11-1.
