Women's Water Polo Set For Four Games at Harvard Invite

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's water polo makes the trip up to Harvard for four games over the weekend as CWPA play continues for the Bears at the Harvard Invite.
Brown will begin the weekend on Saturday (March 1) with a CWPA contest against Mercyhurst at 12 p.m. before a non-conference game against No. 16 Wagner at 4 p.m. On Sunday (March 2), Brown will take on No. 8 Harvard at 11:10 a.m. in a CWPA game before ending the weekend against Siena at 2:30 p.m.

Brown is 8-7 on the season and ranked T-24 in the latest CWPA poll after going 2-1 last weekend in three CWPA games. The Bears lost to No. 16 Michigan to start the weekend before beating Saint Francis and Bucknell.
SCOUTING MERCYHURST
Mercyhurst is 4-8 on the season and is coming into the weekend with a win over Grove City College the last time in the pool. Mercyhurst is in its first season in the CWPA.
Brown is 12-0 against Mercyhurst dating back to 2011. He Bears last played Mercyhurst in 2020, winning 13-4.
SCOUTING WAGNER
Wagner is 6-4 on the season and in its last weekend of play, the Seahawks took down Michigan and Indiana.
Brown is 5-14 against Wagner since 2010 but the Bears broke an 11-game losing streak to Wagner last year with a 14-12 win.
SCOUTING HARVARD
Harvard is 10-1 on the season, 4-0 in CWPA play and has won eight-straight games since a loss to Indiana on Feb. 2.
Since 2010, Brown is 12-14 against Harvard with the Bears earning a 13-12 overtime win in the CWPA Tournament last season.
SCOUTING SIENA
Siena is 1-10 on the year and have lost 10-straight games since beating Azusa Pacific in the season opener.
The Bears have not lost to Siena in 12 games since 2010. The last meeting was a 16-6 win for Brown back in 2023.
