Sailing Opens Spring 2025 Season This Weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown sailing teams will open their 2025 spring season at three different event this weekend.Â
Due to forecasted weather conditions for Sunday, all events will now take place only on Saturday, Mar. 1
The open sailing team will host the Liam O'Keefe Team Race Trophy at home this weekend. They will also compete in the Thames River Team Race at Connecticut College. The women's sailing team was slated to compete in the Harvard Women's Team Race, but has since been moved to the Ted Turner '60 Sailing Pavilion at the Edgewood Yacht Club in Cranston, R.I. with Brown hosting the event.
