Women's Water Polo Downs Bucknell For CWPA Win to Close Weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's water polo clinched a solid win over Bucknell (8-7, 2-2 CWPA) at home on Sunday, making them 2-1 on the weekend.
The Bears set the tone early in the game, putting up ten goals to the Bison's three by halftime. Bucknell outscored Brown by two points in both the third and fourth quarters, but the Bears' early dominance kept them safely in the lead.
Aubrie Anderson led the day in scoring, sinking four out of her five attempts. Cleo Washer followed close behind with three points, while Samantha Kim and Madeleine Poissonnier logged two. Claire Poissonnier and Sofia Holman also netted a goal apiece to round out the score at 13-10 in favor of the Bears.

The Bears will be back in action at Cambridge this weekend with matches against Mercyhurst, Wagner, Harvard and Siena.
