Women’s Lacrosse Set to Take on Holy Cross and Sacred Heart This Weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown women's lacrosse team (1-0) will take on Holy Cross (3-0) on Friday evening before heading to Sacred Heart (0-2) on Sunday afternoon.
Originally scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at Holy Cross, the Bears' game against the Crusaders has been moved to 7:00 p.m. inside the Conaty Indoor Athletic Center at Bryant. The Brown Holy Cross contest will not be streamed.
Brown's game at Sacred Heart (Feb. 23) will be broadcast live on ESPN+
Last Time Out
Brown opened the 2025 season with a 20-3 win over New Hampshire (Feb. 15) at Stevenson-Pincince Field, the Bears opened the game on a 19-0 run as New Hampshire didn't score its first goal until 1:05 remaining in the third quarter.
Beth Anderson led the way for Brown with three goals and one assist, the sophomore had a game-high 12 draw controls. Anderson's 12 draw controls was the sixth-highest individual draw control total in the country this season and the best effort by an Ivy League player this season.
Brown's three goals allowed was the third-best mark nationally this season. Leah Caputo also added a first half hat trick for the Bears.
Scouting Holy Cross (3-0)
The Crusaders will take on the Bears with a 3-0 record, they've scored 56 goals in their first three games of the season. Sally Zinsner leads Holy Cross with 15 goals in three games, her 8.0 points per game ranks first nationally.
Isabela Miller has 13 assists through the first three games of the season, her 4.3 assists per game ranks tied for third in the nation.
Scouting Sacred Heart (0-2)
Sacred Heart will look to win its first game of the season when they welcome Brown to Campus Field, the Pioneers have scored 12 goals through the first two games of the season while allowing 20.
Jamie Tanner leads the Pioneers with four goals and two assists.

Brown will return to Stevenson-Pincince Field to take on Vermont (Mar. 1) at 3:30 p.m.
