Men’s Basketball Closes Non-Conference Play wIth 105-47 Win Over Johnson & Wales

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown men's basketball team (6-7) wrapped up its non-conference schedule with a 105-47 win over Johnson & Wales (1-11, 0-3) on Wednesday afternoon inside the Pizzitola Sports Center.
The Bears took control early with a 9-0 run to begin the game, they went on to lead by as much as 26 in the opening half. Landon Lewis led the way offensively with 10 points on 4-5 shooting from the floor.
The Bears outscored the Wildcats 20-10 inside the paint as their bench earned a 25-10 first half advantage. As a team, Brown shot 18-35 from the floor as it took a 50-24 advantage into the second half.
Brown led by as much as 58 in the second half as it held on for the victory.
Charlie O'Sullivan led the way in the second half with 11 of his 17 points, the freshman hit four out of his six attempts from the floor in the half. As a team, Brown shot 20-38 from the floor and 7-14 from beyond the arc.
Brown had seven players score in double figures as Lewis led the way with 19. O'Sullivan's 17 points was followed by David Rochester's 13, and Luke Paragon's 12. N'famara Dabo, Isaiah Langham, and Adrian Uchidiuno all chipped in with 12 points.
Lewis' 19 points was a season-high, the senior also matched a career-high with four steals. Paragon is shooting 14-26 from beyond the arc over the last four games, Rochester has scored in double figures in four-straight games.
Brown will begin Ivy League play on Monday, Jan. 5 against Yale. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. inside the Pizzitola Sports Center. Fans can purchase tickets here.
