Men's Swim and Dive Begin Season 1-1, Defeat Dartmouth 157-143

HANOVER, N.H. – The Brown men's swimming and diving team (1-1, 1-1 Ivy) began the 2025-26 season with a split at the two-day meet hosted by Dartmouth. The Bears defeated the Big Green 157-143 and fell to Princeton 219-81 inside the Karl Michael and Spaulding Pools. Rowland Lawver (1-meter dive) and Rory O'Connor (500 freestyle) collected victories in their respective events.

Ivy competition continues on Thursday, Nov. 13, at 5 p.m., when the Bears host Yale at the Katherine Coleman Aquatics Center, located inside the Nelson Fitness Center.

Summary of Top-Three Finishes
- Lawver secured a win in the 1-meter dive with a score of 352.60.
- O'Connor won the 500 free in his first collegiate swim, with a time of 4:25.10, and placed third in the 100 free.
- Marton Nagy finished second in the 200 backstroke (1:45.96) and third in the 100 backstroke at 48.27.
- Jake Regenwetter placed third in the 100 breaststroke (55.59).
- Christopher Zhang placed third in the 100 Yard Freestyle (44.64).
- Erik Nadecki took third in the 400 Yard IM (3:56.90).
- The 400 free relay team of Nagy, Zhang, Jonathan Gim, and Donavan Jeng placed third (2:58.59), the third fastest time in pool history.
