Men’s Swimming and Diving Falls to Yale

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's swimming and diving team (1-2, 1-2 Ivy) fell to Yale (1-0, 1-0 Ivy), 197-107, on Thursday night in the Katherine Coleman Aquatics Center. The Bears collected three top finishes as Rowland Lawver (1-meter dive and 3-meter dive) and Christopher Zhang (100 freestyle) secured victories in their respective events. It is the second consecutive 1-meter dive victory for Lawver.

Brown will hit the road to compete against the Penn Quakers on Saturday, Nov. 15, at noon. Saturday's contest can be streamed on ESPN+.

Summary of Top-Three Finishes
- Lawver secured victories in the 1-meter (346.13) and 3-meter (363.53) diving events.
- Zhang secured first place in the 100 Yard Freestyle (44.50) and placed second in the 50 freestyle (20.40).
- The 400 free relay team of Zhang, Jonathan Gim, Finn Quested, and Donavan Jeng placed second (3:01.77).
- Matteo Vasiliadis placed second in the 1-meter dive (313.58).
- James Kershaw placed second in the 200 butterfly (1:53.01).
- Marton Nagy placed second in the 200 Yard Freestyle (1:38.13), 200 breaststroke (2:00.67), and 200 Yard IM (1:48.17).
- Will Cicco placed second in the 1000 Yard Freestyle with a time of 9:30.33.
- Rory O'Connor placed second in the 500 Yard Freestyle (4:28.72).
- Matt Williamson placed third in the 500 Yard Freestyle (4:32.95).
- Gim placed third in the 100 Yard Freestyle (45.80).
