Men’s Basketball Set to Open the Brown Bears Invitational Against Hampton on Friday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown men's basketball team (0-3) will welcome Hampton (1-2) to begin the Brown Bears Invitational on Friday, Nov. 14, tip-off is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. inside the Pizzitola Sports Center.
Brown Bears Invitational Schedule
Brown will welcome Hampton to open the event before Hampton takes on Holy Cross (Nov. 16), the event will conclude on Tuesday, Nov. 18 when Brown welcomes Holy Cross at 7 p.m.
Last Time Out
Brown fell 90-77 at Boston University (Nov. 12), Isaiah Langham led the Bears with a career high 20 points. Adrian Uchidiuno chipped in with 14 points and Luke Paragon netted 11 points.
The Bears' bench tallied 41 points, the most since they scored 44 against Johnson & Wales last season (Jan. 5, 2025).
Scouting Brown
Uchidiuno leads the Bears with 11.3 points per game, followed by N'famara Dabo who is averaging 10.0. Dabo is also averaging a team-high 7.3 rebounds per game.
Jeremiah Jenkins has been stuffing the stat sheet through three games this season with averages of 7.7 points, 7.0 assists, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game. Jenkins' 7.0 assists per game leads the Ivy League and ranks 16th nationally.
Brown's bench is averaging 32.0 points per game this season and has had multiple bench players score in double figures in back-to-back games.
Scouting Hampton
The Pirates are averaging 80.7 points per game this season; they have three players averaging double-digits in Jalyke Wyatt-Gaines (10.7), Xzavier Long (10.5), and Michael Eley (10.0).
Long leads Hampton with 10.0 rebounds per contest, he is also averaging 4.5 assists per game.
Defensively, Hampton is averaging 7.3 steals and 5.7 blocks per game.
