Men’s Basketball Drops Non-Conference Tilt at Boston University

BOSTON, Mass. - The Brown men's basketball team (0-3) dropped its non-conference contest 90-77 at Boston University (2-1) on Wednesday evening inside Case Gym.
The Terriers opened the game on a 13-0 run after making their first four shots from the floor, two free throws from Isaiah Langham ended the Terriers' run.
After Langham's free throws, the Bears launched a 8-5 run to cut the Terriers' lead to 18-8, 10 points was the closest Brown would get in the first half.
Boston University led 48-31 at halftime behind 16-26 shooting from the floor and 8-14 shooting from three-point range. Brown had three players score eight points in the first half in Langham, Luke Paragon, and Adrian Uchidiuno.
Brown opened the second half on a 10-4 run through the first 4:24, cutting the Boston University lead to 52-41. Langham scored eight of the 10 points during the run. After Brown cut the deficit to 11, Boston University quickly pushed its lead back up to 18 points as they led 59-41 with 13:04 remaining.
The Bears got as close as 10 points with 3:11 remaining, but the Terriers held on for the victory. Brown shot 59.3 percent from the floor in the second half and 50 percent from three-point range.

Langham finished with a game and career high 20 points, he also grabbed three rebounds and dished out one assist. Uchidiuno continued his strong start to the season with 14 points on 5-10 shooting from the floor and 2-5 shooting from beyond the arc. Paragon finished with a career high 11 points.
Overall, Brown shot 47.2 percent from the floor, the Bears' bench poured in 41 points.
Brown will welcome Hampton for the first game of the Brown Bears Invitational on Friday, Nov. 14, tip-off is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. inside the Pizzitola Sports Center.
