Men’s Basketball Falls to UMass in Exhibition on Sunday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown men's basketball team fell 92-74 in an exhibition on Sunday inside the Pizzitola Sports Center.
Brown took a 38-33 lead into halftime after shooting 15-29 from the floor and 5-12 from beyond the arc. Adrian Uchidiuno poured in a team-high 11 points in the first half on 3-4 shooting from distance. The Bears scored 18 of their 38 first half points inside the paint.
The Minutemen outscored the Bears 59-36 in the second half behind 64.9 percent shooting in the final 20 minutes to pick up the win
Uchidiuno led the Bears with 16 points on 5-10 shooting from the floor and 4-8 shooting from beyond the arc. N'famara Dabo chipped in with 13 points and a team-high eight rebounds as Brady Loughlin scored nine points on 3-7 shooting from three-point range.
As a team, Brown shot 46.6 percent from the floor and 40.7 percent from three-point range.
Brown will open its regular season on Friday, Nov. 7 against Siena, tip-off is set for 7 p.m. inside the Pizzitola Sports Center.
