Men's Water Polo Hosts Part of Harvard Invite This Weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Brown men's water polo team (11-5, 1-2 NWPC) will welcome No. 20 George Washington (10-10, 5-2 NWPC) on Saturday, Oct. 18, for day one of the Harvard Invite. Then on Sunday, Oct. 19, the men will also welcome Wagner (7-9, 1-3 NWPC) and Salem (11-9, 0-2 NWPC) at the Katherine Moral Coleman Aquatics Center.
The Bears will start day one off by facing the Revolutionaries at 11 a.m., with that being the only game they play for the day. The action continues with the second day of the tournament against the Seahawks, beginning at 9 a.m. with the final game of the weekend starting at 1 p.m. against the Tigers. All games played will be broadcast live on ESPN+.Â
Brown closed out last weekend's competition with a 1-1 record, picking up their win against MIT 18-12. The Bears fell to no. 17Â Harvard during their second game of the day.
Ilias Stothart still leads the Bears with 64 goals this season, as Dominik Balla has the second most goals with 27. In goal, Dimitrios Kratimenos has made 91 saves this season, with the second most going to Kole Newman, who has 39 saves.
Next weekend, the Bears travel to Santa Clara, Calif., to play No. 13 California Baptist and No. 17 Santa Clara for the Julian Fraser Memorial Tournament.Â
