
Men’s Water Polo Beats Wagner and Salem to Finish Harvard Invite

PROVIDENCE RI - The Bears beat Wagner and Salem on Sunday (Oct. 19), finishing off the Harvard Invite with a three-game win streak.
Wagner (10-9)
Griffin Tunney started day two off for the Bears, scoring the first goal two minutes and fifty seconds into the game.
Jaxson Tierney scored another four goals for the Bears with Daniel Hadar and Dominik Balla both scoring two goals during the game. Mac Berry also had two assists, helping the team stay on top.
Ryan Miele saved seven goals for the Bears alongside Kole Newman who saved the tying goal from the Seahawks, allowing the men to come out victorious for game one.
Salem (14-7)
For the final game of the weekend William Vranesh scored the first goal of the game just fifteen seconds into the game giving the Bears the lead early on.
Balla scored another four goals for the team with Hugo Molnar and Theo Pliner both scoring two goals, giving the Bears their 11-3 lead at halftime.
Once again, with Kratimenos in net blocking five goals from the Tigers, the Bears picked up their third win of the weekend.
What's Next?
The Bears are off to Santa Clara, Calif. on Friday, Oct. 24th to play California Baptist and Santa Clara on Saturday Oct. 25.
