PROVIDENCE, R.I.  – Brown softball head coach Mary Holt-Kelsch has announced the hiring of Richard Fonseca as an assistant coach. Fonseca joins the program having served as an assistant to Holt-Kelsch at Rhode Island College.

"I am extremely excited to welcome Richard Fonseca to the Brown softball family!," said Holt-Kelsch. "The work he did at Rhode Island College was program changing, and I know he will be bringing the energy and passion to Brown. Fons has a great mind in game day preparation, and I know our program will benefit greatly from his softball mind."
