
Coed and Women's Sailing Record Another Strong Weekend

Julian Dahiya '28, Guthrie Braun '26, and Martin Atilla '27 all had solid performances at the New England (NEISA) Open Singlehanded Championship for the Montoype Trophy, finishing 4th, 6th, and 7th respectively in the strong 34 boat fleet.Â
The field will be announced of selections for both the Women's and Open Singlehanded Nationals in mid October to see if they will make the 18 boat field for each Nationals (Women's and Open) Katharine Doble earns an automatic berth as the Conference Champion in Women's. Last year she finished 2nd at the Nationals in New Orleans, LA.
In other events, the women's team had two teams at the 18 team Women's Regis Bowl Trophy at Harvard (hosted by Boston University), finishing a strong 3rd and 5th respectively.Â
The coed team finished 6th out of 18 teams at the Hatch Brown Trophy at MIT and won the 18 boat Coast Guard Invite, with Tyler Lamm '28 and Phoebe Hackett '28 winning overall.
