Women's Water Polo Downed by No. 11 Michigan

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Brown women's water polo fell to No. 11 Michigan, 17-9, to close out the weekend. Madeleine Poissonnier and Ella Palmer each scored two goals for Brown in the defeat.

The Bears trailed 3-2 after the first quarter but took the lead with goals from Hanna Tidrenczel and Palmer early in the second. Michigan responded scoring nine-straight goals and taking a 13-4 lead before a goal from Cleo Washer ended the Wolverines run.

Brown picked up goals from Madeleine Poissonnier, Claire Poissonnier, Aubrie Anderson and Gabby Montalvo in the final quarter.

UP NEXT
Brown returns home for a matchup against Princeton next weekend. The Bears and Tigers will meet on Saturday at 3 p.m.
