SCOUTING THE BEARS
- Brown sits at 7-15 overall and is 2-4 in Ivy League play. The Bears are coming off a win in the series finale against Harvard as Brown beat the Crimson 2-0.
- In the win over Harvard, Alexis Guevara threw a complete game shutout and Brianna Rodriguez's two-run double in the bottom of the first were all the runs Brown would need in the win.
- Jasmine Hsiao continues to produce for the Bears, having reached base in 16-straight games. It is the eighth-longest current streak in the NCAA. It is the longest streak for a Brown player since Meghan Wimmer had a 27-game streak back in 2018.
- Hsiao leads the team with a .359 batting average, 23 hits, seven doubles and 11 runs scored. The sophomore also leads the team with a .453 on base percentage and is 11-for-12 in stolen base attempts. Hsiao is currently seventh in the Ivy League in batting average and fifth in on base percentage.
- Laurel Moody is third in the league in runs batted in with 19. Moody is tied for second on the team with Lily Berlinger with a .308 batting average and is leading the team with three home runs.
- Guevara continues to lead Brown's pitching staff, sitting fourth in the league in ERA (2.57), third in the league in both opposing batting average (.243) and strikeouts (56) and second in innings pitched (76.1).
- Macy Borowski is fifth in the league in innings pitched (54.1) and seventh in the league in strikeouts (36).
- Dartmouth is 7-10 on the season and 3-2 in Ivy League play. The Big Green took two of three games against Yale in their last Ivy series and are coming off a win over #21/23 Boston University on Tuesday.
- Mary Beth Cahalan leads Dartmouth with a .333 batting average and 17 hits on the year.
- Olivia Schramm is the leading run producer for the Big Green, having driven in 13 on the season.
- In the circle, Jensin Hall holds a 3.02 ERA with three shutouts in 62.2 innings pitched. Hall has 95 strikeouts on the season and is fourth in the NCAA in strikeouts per seven innings.
- Brown has won just three of the last 24 meetings against Dartmouth. A 6-5 win in the series finale last season broke a seven-game losing streak to the Big Green. Brown has not won in Hanover in its last 13 games.
