Women's Water Polo Falls to Princeton in CWPA Semifinals

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Brown women's water polo dropped its semifinal game to Princeton 9-7 on Saturday afternoon.
Hanna Tidrenczel led Brown with three goals and four other Bears each found the net once.
The Bears and Tigers were tied 3-3 after the first quarter with Tidrenczel, Cleo Washer and Madeleine Poissonnier each scoring. Brown got goals from Aubrie Anderson and Gaby Montalvo in the second and trailed by one at the half.
Tidrenczel scored Brown's two goals in the third quarter but the Bears still trailed 8-7 heading to the fourth.
The Bears were shutout in the final eight minutes as Princeton added one goal for the final tally.
Roxanne Hazuka stopped seven shots for Brown.
UP NEXT
Brown will now play Harvard in the third-place game on Sunday at 10 a.m.
