Women's Water Polo Falls to Pomona-Pitzer

POMONA, Calif. – Brown women's water polo dropped a tight contest to Pomona-Pitzer, falling to the Sagehens 11-10.
Hanna Tridrenczel, Sierra Martin and Audrie Anderson led Brown with two goals each. Cleo Washer scored a goal and had four assists. In goal, Roxanne Hazuka had nine saves.
Brown led after the first quarter with goals from Emily Suong, Washer and Ella Palmer and the game was tied at five at halftime.
In the third quarter, Brown built a two-goal lead after goals from Martin and Sophie Golub but the game was a one-goal game heading into the final quarter.
Brown took the lead on a goal by Tidrenczel with three minutes left in the game but Pomona-Pitzer scored the final two goals to take the victory.

Brown will be in the pool next on Tuesday with a contest at UC Irvine beginning at 7 p.m. ET.
