Women's Water Polo Drops Contest to No. 7 UC Irvine

IRVINE, Calif. – Brown women's water polo fell to No. 7 UC Irvine as the Bears continue their week in California.

The Bears were led by three goals from Hanna Tidrenczel and two goals from Ella Palmer in the defeat. Sophie Golub picked up two assists for Brown. Roxanne Hazuka finished the game with nine saves in goal.

The game was tied 3-3 after the first quarter with Tidrenczel scoring twice and Palmer netting one goal. Brown was outscored 3-1 in both the second and third quarters and the Anteaters took the fourth quarter 5-0 for the final tally.

UP NEXT
Brown will face off against Long Beach State on Wednesday (March 27) with the game starting at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.
