Women's Lacrosse Travels to Harvard for Ivy League Opener

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -Â No. 24 Brown women's lacrosse takes the short trip north to Harvard for the 2024 Ivy League opener at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The Bears and Crimson both enter the game with 3-0 records and each team is looking to keep their momentum rolling to a 1-0 start in conference play. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+.

Scouting the Bears
- Brown has been off for a week after defeating Sacred Heart, 15-6, in their home opener last weekend.
- Brown was down 2-1 at the end of the first quarter, but outscored the Pioneers 7-1 in the second, and 3-0 in the third, to run away with the convincing win.
- Senior Mia Mascone recorded three goals and four assists to become the 23rd player in Brown women's lacrosse history to reach and pass 100-career points.
- Junior Greta Criqui led the team with five goals, while Senior Julia Ford and sophomore Marley Wright each had two goals. Senior Carly Camphausen, junior Jessie Bakes and freshman Ruby Sliwkowski all scored one goal.
- Mascone leads the team in goals (11), assists (6) and caused turnovers (7).
- Harvard is off to a 3-0 start after defeating Colgate (21-6), Georgetown (20-4), and VCU (19-7).
- Last time out, junior Caroline Mullahey broke a 43-year program single-game record with ten assists.
- The Crimson are tied for first in the nation with an average of 20 goals per game and they lead the country with 11 assists per game.
- Senior Callie Hem leads the country with 6.67 goals per game.
- Mullahy is first in the nation with six assists per game and third in country with 18 total assists.
