Men's Lacrosse Continues Road Trip at #11/13 Georgetown

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown Bears (0-3, 0-0 Ivy League) head to Washington, D.C. to take on the #11/13 Georgetown Hoyas (2-2, 0-0 Big East) on Saturday at Cooper Field.
Saturday's game is slated to begin at noon and will stream on FloSports.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
- Brown enters the weekend looking for the first win of the season after falling in overtime at Providence College last Saturday (Feb. 24).
- Brown's offense averages 9.33 goals per game and are led by junior Aidan McLane, who has 10 goals and 11 points. Jack Kelly ranks second on the team with nine points and leads the Bears with six assists.
- The Bruno man-up offense clicks at .333 (4-for-12) to rank 39th in the NCAA.
- Brown's .836 clear percentage ranks 56th in the nation.
- Defensively, Brown allows 13.67 goals per game to rank 56th. Connor Theriault has started all three games for the Bears and holds a .513 save percentage and 13.33 goals against average. He recorded a season-high 18 saves last weekend at Providence.
- Brown's man-down defense ranks 35th nationally at .647 (11-for-17).
- Georgetown enters Saturday with a 2-2 overall record and are ranked #11 in the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll and #13 in the USILA Coaches Poll.
- The Hoyas opened the season with losses to Loyola (Md.) and 13th-ranked Johns Hopkins before taking down #18 Penn and #1 Notre Dame in consecutive weekends.
- Georgetown's offense averages 10.50 goals per game to rank 47th in the NCAA.
- Aidan Carroll leads Georgetown with 10 goals and is tied for second on the team with 12 points alongside Graham Bundy Jr. TJ Haley leads the Hoyas with 13 assists and 16 points.
- Georgetown's man-up offense has six goals in 14 attempts (.429) to rank 23rd nationally.
- The Hoyas rank 38th in the NCAA with a .873 clear percentage.
- Georgetown allows 12.00 goals per game to rank 45th in the NCAA. Between the pipes, Anderson Moore has played every minute and holds a .467 save percentage and 11.80 goals against average.
- Georgetown's man-down defense has allowed four goals in nine attempts (.556) to rank 51st in the NCAA.
- Saturday marks the sixth meeting between the Bears and Hoyas and first in over 20 years.
- Georgetown has won each of the last five meetings between 1997 and 2003.
- Three of the five meetings have been decided by two goals or less.
- Captain Jack Kelly collected a career-high six points last weekend against Providence College (2/24).
- It marked the fourth career hat trick for the Indiana native and a career-high with three assists.
- Brown freshman Jackson Wolfram tallied two goals and two assists in his collegiate debut against Providence College (2/24).
