200 Free Relay Sets Program Record on Day Two of 2024 Ivy Swim and Dive Championships

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Another record fell on Thursday evening inside the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center as the 200 free relay team shattered the previous mark set in 2018.
After two days, Brown sits in fourth with 342.5 points. Princeton (523), Harvard (422.5) and Yale (417.5) round out the top four.
FINALS
Brown's 200 free relay squad of Sam Scott, Morgan Lukinac, Kelly Dolce and Zehra Bilgin collected 54 points with a 1:30.22 finish in the final event of day two of the 2024 Ivy Championships. The finish set a new program standard, shattering the 1:31.21 time set in 2018.
Scott and Lukinac placed third and fourth, respectively, in the 50 yard free A final at 22.44 and 22.46.
Bilgin placed third in the B final of the 500 free, clocking in at 4:51.17. Dana Li earned the win in the C finals at 4:51.82, with teammate Sara Barrett placing fourth.
Lillian Klinginsmith's 2:01.22 mark in the B final of the 200 IM was good for fourth.
In the 1-meter diving finale, Isabelle George's 274.40 in the A final earned 25 points for the Bears, while Bowie Krawczyk's 254.75 in the B final was good for third place.
PRELIMS
Bilgin clocked in at 4:49.87 to qualify for the finals in the 500 free along with Maria Iorini (4:50.74), Sara Barrett (4:54.25) and Li (4:54.50).
Three pairs advanced to finals in the 200 IM as Klinginsmith (2:02.01), Anna Podurgiel (2:03.15) and Lizzy Washburn (2:03.28) finished in the top 24.
Lukinac and Scott placed third and fourth, respectively, in the 50 yard free to qualify for finals. Joining the pair was Dolce.
George and Krawczyk advanced to the 1-meter diving finals with their performance.
