Lukinac, 400 Relay Team Win Gold, Women's Swimming and Diving Finish Fourth at 2026 Ivy League Championship

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Morgan Lukinac won two gold medals on Saturday as the Brown women's swimming and diving team finished fourth at the 2026 Ivy League Women's Swimming and Diving Championship at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center. A day after securing her spot in the NCAA Championship in Atlanta in the 100 free, Lukinac set a program record in the 200 free to win the event for the second time in her career (2024). The final event was the 400 free relay, and Crystal Yuen, Isabella Dieffenthaller, Kelly Dolce, and Lukinac, who also won the 800 relay on day one of the Brown-hosted tournament, secured gold again. Â
Lukinac's 48.29 performance secured Brown's first victory in the 100 free since 2006, while the 400 relay team won gold for the first time since 2004. Lukinac finished with four gold medals, and Dieffenthaller, Dolce, and Yuen each earned two.
Natalie Garre broke her own mile record as she finished third overall in the 1650 free with a time of 16:11.29. Yuen placed seventh (16:25.71). In the morning prelims, Nadia Thomas finished seventh in the 200 backstroke and ultimately placed sixth in the finals (1:56.79). After earning first, fourth, and seventh-place finishes in the 100 free prelims, respectively, Lukinac was followed by Dolce (third; 49.05) and Dieffenthaller (eighth; 49.54).Â
Sumner Chmielewski finished seventh in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:00.35, and on the board, Elena Yeh placed eighth in the 3-meter dive with a score of 261.80.
The 2026 NCAA Zone A Diving competition is scheduled for March 9-11 in Annapolis, Md. Isabella George and Elena Yeh achieved qualifying marks in the 1-meter and 3-meter dives, respectively. Bowie Krawczyk met the standard in the 1-meter, and Chloe Wong qualified in the 3-meter dive.
