Men's Tennis Secures Doubles, Closes ECAC's Against Temple

PHILADELPHIA - Brown men's tennis concluded the ECAC Championship with a hard-fought defeat against Temple, 4-3, where the Bears won doubles and a pair of singles matches.

The Bears were victorious in first and second doubles. The first doubles pair of junior Alex Finkelstein and sophomore Zander Bravo took a tiebreaker (7-5), while sophomore Noah Hernandez and senior Chun Lam secured second doubles (6-4).

Finkelstein first won second singles (6-3, 6-3) to give Brown a 2-0 match lead. Temple then secured third, first and fifth singles to take a 3-2 advantage. Junior Sam Feldman then got the victory at sixth singles (4-6, 6-2, 6-4) to even the match at three. The Owls clinched the match point at fourth singles in the third set.

Brown returns to the Pizzitola Sports Center, where they are unbeaten, to take on Boston University at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
