PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Head women's lacrosse coach Katrina Dowd has announced the program's 2025 schedule, a 15-game slate that features seven home games and a non-conference clash with the 2024 National Champions, Boston College. Six contests will be played against teams who reached the NCAA Tournament in 2024.
The Bears are coming off a historic season, tying the single-season record with ten wins and breaking 11 records - setting new standards for points, goals, assists and draws in Dowd's first season at the helm.
Brown will open the regular season at Stevenson-Pincince Field against New Hampshire (Feb.15), before two road games against Holy Cross (Feb. 21) and Sacred Heart (Feb. 23).
The Bears will return home against Vermont (Mar. 1), before beginning Ivy League Play at Cornell (March 7) and wrapping up the weekend at Binghamton (Mar. 9), the 2024 America East Champions.
Brown will then head home to host a three-game homestand, welcoming the 2024 National Champions in Boston College (Mar. 18), the reigning Ivy League Champions in Yale (Mar. 22) and a match with Harvard (Mar. 29).
The Bears will travel to Durham, NC to take on Duke (Apr. 1) and return home to welcome Columbia (Apr. 5) before a three-game road trip.
The road trip features stops at Bryant (Apr. 8), Dartmouth (Apr. 12), and Princeton (Apr. 19), Brown will close out the regular season against Penn (Apr. 26). The Ivy League Tournament will be hosted by the highest seed (May 2 & May 4).
