Women's Basketball to Take on Colorado State on Saturday

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico- The Brown women's basketball team is set to compete in their second and final game of the Puerto Rico Clasico Tournament. The Bears will take on Colorado State, with tip off set for 1:30 p.m.

Scouting the Bears (2-5)
- The Bears lost their first game of the Puerto Rico Clasico to Kent State, 74-51.
- Senior center Gianna Aiello led Brown in scoring with 13 points and eight rebounds. Aiello is ranked second in the Ivy League in rebounds, averaging 9.7 per game.
- First-year forward Aima Ofunrein ranks second in the Ivy League in field goal percentage with .587 behind Brown's Gianna Aiello. Aiello ranks first with .667.
- Junior guard Grace Arnolie continues to lead the team in scoring with 13 points per game.
- The Bears look to bounce back in game two of the Puerto Rico Clasico against Colorado State.
- The Rams will play back-to-back games in the Puerto Rico Clasico starting with Kent State on Friday.
- Ahead of the tournament, Colorado State earned a win over Black Hills State, 59-39.
- The Rams' two losses of the season came from Brigham Young University and Northern Arizona.
- Grad student Emma Ronsiek leads Colorado State in scoring, averaging 15.4 points per game.
- The Bears and Rams have previously met once during the 1995-96 season.
- Colorado State beat Brown with a final score of 85-72.
