Men's Swimming & Diving Wins Bruno Invite After Strong Final Day

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's swimming and diving won the Bruno Invitational as the Bears earned four wins on the night.
Brown swept the 1650 freestyle to start the day with Matt Williamson taking the top spot (15:07.17). Max Hardart (15:14.66) was second and Christian Duetoft (15:26.39) took third.
Marton Nagy won the 200 backstroke in 1:43.46 and Finn Quested took second (1:44.74).
Marcus Lee finished second in the 100 freestyle with a time of 43.77.
Jack Kelly won the 200 breaststroke with a time of 1:52.56 and Max Moore finished second with a time of 1:59.09.
James Kershaw earned a second-place finish in the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:47.27.
Brown went 1-2 in the 400 freestyle relay to close out the night. The Bears' "A" team of Jerry O'Mara, Lee, Jonathan Gim and Donavan Jeng won with a time of 2:54.93. The "B" team of Nagy, Christopher Zhang, Quested and Kelly were second with a time of 2:54.96.
UP NEXT
Brown will be off until Jan. 11, when the Bears return to the pool against Columbia.
