Field Hockey Hits the Road to Play Princeton Friday, Quinnipiac Monday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Bears hit the road for a pair of away games over the long weekend, heading to New Jersey for Ivy play against Princeton (6-4, 3-0 Ivy) Friday, Oct. 11 before traveling to play Quinnipiac (2-10, 0-3 Big East) Monday, Oct. 14.
Friday's game will begin at 4 p.m. in Princeton, NJ at Bedford Field. This game will be streaming on ESPN+.
Monday's game will begin at 1 p.m. in Hamden, CT at Quinnipiac Field Hockey Stadium. This game will be streaming on ESPN+.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
- The Bears are coming off of a weekend sweep and hold a two-game win streak entering their third conference game of the season.
- The Bear's offense is spread as Katie McCallum and Mia Karine Myklebust both record five goals each, Lexi Pellegrino (4) following close behind. McCallum leads the team with points and records three assists and 13 points.
- Lucy Adams leads the Bears recording six assists.
- Defensively, sophomore goalkeeper Kylee Del Monte records a 2.22 goals against average and .682 save percentage. Assisting by anchoring the back, senior Julia Hitti recorded two defensive saves.
- The Tigers are 3-0 in conference games so far, beating Pennsylvania, Columbia and Cornell.
- Beth Yeager leads the offensive charge with seven goals and six assists, amassing 20 points. Following her, Grace Schulze, holds eight points including three goals and two assists, also recording a defensive save.
- Defensively, the Tigers only allow 1.30 goals per game with Robyn Thompson in net. Thompson has played in 10 games and holds a 1.31 goals against average and a .755 save percentage.
- Friday's game will mark the 47th meeting between the Bears and the Tigers.
- Princeton holds a 37-8 record over the Bears. There is one tie in the series record.
- Francisca Eschoyez carries the Bobcat's offense with 10 goals so far this season, one assist, and 21 points.
- Julie Hoefer anchors the back with four defensive saves.
- Defensively, the Bobcats allow 2.58 goals per game with Cristina Torres in net. Torres holds a 2.45 goals against average and a .732 save percentage.
- This will be the 10th meeting between the Bobcats and the Bears.
- The Bobcats hold a 7-2 record over the Bears.
