Women’s Soccer Travels to Princeton on Saturday

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Brown women's soccer team will continue Ivy League play on Saturday when they travel to Princeton, kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
Last Time Out
Brown picked up its second consecutive victory and first Ivy League victory with a 2-1 win over Harvard (Sept. 28). Layla Shell found the back of the net for the first time this season as Ella Weil scored the game-winning goal in the 78th minute.
Karlie Schlosser picked up two assists in the win, the senior has four assists in the last two games.
Both of Brown's goals came off of corner kick opportunities.
Ella Weil Collects Ivy League Honors
On Monday, freshman Ella Weil earned Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week after scoring the game-winning goal against Harvard.
Since entering the starting lineup against Northeastern (Sept. 19), Weil has scored three goals and has seven points. Weil also helped Brown earn a 6-1 win at Northeastern with two goals and one assist.
Weil's four goals ranks fourth in the Ivy League and first on the Bears while her nine points also ranks fourth in the Ivy League and first on the Bears.
Recent Ivy League Dominance
Brown is 26-0-2 in regular season Ivy League play since the 2019 season, the Bears haven't suffered a defeat in regular season Ivy League action since the 2018 season.
The Bears are seeking an unprecedented fifth consecutive Ivy League title, the Bears have the opportunity to become the first-ever program to earn this feat.
