Women's Tennis Finishes Day Four at ITA Regionals

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Brown women's tennis team completed their fourth day of competition at the ITA Regionals on Sunday.
Lindsey Hofflander and Phoebe Peus continued their stellar run in the doubles bracket by defeating Serafima Shastova and Constance Levivier (Syracuse)Â by a score of 8-5 and Charlotte Owensby and Holly Fischer (Harvard) also by an 8-5 final. With those two victories, Hofflander and Peus have clinched a spot in the semifinal round of the tournament. The winners of the doubles draw will qualify for the individual NCAA Championships held at Baylor University in November.
On the singles side of the bracket, Bella Hu had a hard fought match against Natalie Eordekian (Boston College), dropping both sets 1-6, 2-6. Phoebe Peus also competed hard against Michela Moore (Dartmouth), ultimately having her singles run in Cambridge end by final scores of 4-6, 7-5, 2-6.
