
Men’s Soccer Drops Conference Contest to #18 Penn

Both teams opened the game with intensity. The Quakers struck first with Stas Korzeniowski's goal in the ninth minute to give Penn the upper hand.
The Bears had an opportunity to score on a free kick, but were unable to capitalize on the opportunity as Penn headed the ball away.
In the 26th minute Penn's Stas Korzeniowksi scored his second goal of the game, doubling Penn's lead over Brown.
The Bears fought through the rest of the half, closing it out with three shots.
Both teams were unsuccessful in scoring attempts in the second half. Brown finished out the game with a total of seven shots.
The Bears look ahead to their next game on Saturday, October 19 when they host Harvard for Alumni Day and Breast Cancer Awareness.
