Men’s Basketball Falls to Dartmouth 75-71

HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth (5-12, 1-3 Ivy) rallied from behind to defeat Brown (5-14, 1-3 Ivy) 75-71 on Saturday afternoon at Leede Arena.
The Bears led by as much as 14 and took a double-digit cushion into the half, but the Big Green shot 63 percent from the field in the second to take round one over Brown.
Nana Owusu-Anane posted a second consecutive 20-point game, finishing with 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting and nine rebounds, Kino Lilly Jr. posted 14 points and five rebounds and Malachi Ndur finished with a career-high 14 points to go with three blocked shots.
FIRST HALF
The Bears went on a 7-0 run for a 9-3 lead at the under-16 media. The run was extended to 15-2 and Brown led 37-26 at the half after shooting 52 percent from the field.
Lilly Jr. posted 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting, Owusu-Anane had 11 points and five rebounds, Kalu Anya collected eight points and two steals and Ndur registered five points, two assists and two blocked shots.
NEXT
The Bears host Penn and Princeton on Friday and Saturday, respectively, in the Pizzitola Sports Center.
