Lawton Zacher Named ECAC Goalie of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown freshman goaltender Lawton Zacher was named ECAC MAC Goaltending Goaltender of the Week following a 2-0 weekend over two Ivy League foes.
Zacher finished the weekend with 60 saves on 64 shots to finish with a .938 save percentage as Brown picked up a 5-3 win over Harvard (Jan. 12) and a 2-1 win over Dartmouth (Jan. 13). The Buffalo, New York native stopped 36 shots in the win over the Big Green.
Overall, Zacher holds a 2.59 goals against average and .913 save percentage in 14 starts along with a 5-6-1 record.
The Bears continue ECAC conference play this weekend in the North Country, beginning with a puck drop against the St. Lawrence Saints (5-12-3, 3-4-1 ECAC) at 7 p.m. on Friday before taking on the Clarkson Golden Knights (11-8-1, 5-2-1 ECAC) at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
