
Gymnastics Set to Open 2024 Season at Historic MLK Invitational

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The 2024 season has arrived as the Brown women's gymnastics team is set to open their 2024 season on Monday afternoon at the MLK Invitational in Nashville.
The six-team meet will be hosted by Fisk University, the nation's first HBCU gymnastics program, and feature the only six female African American head coaches in women's college gymnastics.
The meet will be held at Memorial Gymnasium on the campus Vanderbilt University, and feature Brown, Fisk, Iowa State, Rutgers, Talladega, and William & Mary.
The meet will be streamed live on ESPN+ with live results also available.

The six head coaches will be coming together to coach in the meet which is an official event of Nashville's Martin Luther King Jr. Week of Celebration.
All six head coaches competed at the Power Five level of collegiate gymnastics themselves before entering the world of coaching.
