Mollicone Repeats as Ivy Coach of the Year, Four Earn All-Ivy Honors

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Barry Family Director of Sailing John Mollicone has been named the Ivy League Coach of the Year and four members of the women's sailing team have earned All-Ivy recognition, as announced by the league office Monday.
Mollicone repeats as the Ivy Coach of the Year after earning the distinction last season as well. He has coached the women's team to as high as a top three national ranking as well as third place finishes at both the NEISA Women's Team Race Championship and the ICSA Women's Team Race National Championship.
Brielle Willoughby and Savannah Young have been named to the All-Ivy First Team. Young was also named an All-NEISA First Team Crew in April, while Willoughby was a Second Team Skipper.
Blaire McCarthy and Emi Ruth earned All-Ivy Second Team honors. McCarthy was an All-NEISA First Team Skipper honoree, while Ruth was a Second Team Crew.
In addition, McCarthy was also named to the Academic All-Ivy League team.
Brown women's sailing will take part in the ICSA Women's Fleet Race National Championship from May 23-26.
