Women's Water Polo Finishes Regular Season With Home Weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's water polo will wrap up its regular season with three games over the weekend. The Bears will play two games on Saturday before hosting an exhibition on Sunday morning.
The Bears will start the weekend hosting Harvard on Saturday at 12 p.m. and will face off against St. Francis Brooklyn at 5 p.m. later in the day. On Sunday, the Bears will play an exhibition against the Puerto Rico Senior National Team beginning at 9:15 a.m. The two Saturday games will be streamed on ESPN+.
ABOUT BROWN
- Brown is 23-9 on the season and 4-5 in conference play with one game remaining in league play, against Harvard.
- The Bears earned two wins last weekend at Michigan, beating Saint Francis and Bucknell but fell to the host Wolverines, 11-10.
- Zoe King leads Brown with 45 goals this season with Claire Pisani (35) and Lily Weiser (32) in second and third, respectively.
- In total, nine different Bears have scored at least 20 goals this season.
- Weiser is tops on the team with 35 assists, followed by 29 from Bryn Gioffredi.
- Madeleine Poissonnier leads the defense with 44 steals.

- Harvard is 21-7 on the season and is one game ahead of the Bears at 5-4 in conference play. The Crimson are coming off a 15-8 loss to Michigan in their last game.
- Harvard won the first game of the season with the Bears, winning 10-7 in Cambridge.
ABOUT ST. FRANCIS BROOKLYN
- St. Francis Brooklyn is 14-9 on the season and went 5-8 in conference play. The Terriers last played Brown in 2019 with the Bears winning two games, 16-8 and 16-5.
