Men's Water Polo has 22 Players Named to ACWPC All-Academic Team

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's water polo had 22 students named to the 2022 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches All-Academic Team and earned the fourth-highest GPA in the nation, the ACWPC announced.
For the 16th consecutive year, Brown finished in the top five in the nation for team GPA, ranking fourth among Division I institutions. As individuals, eight Bears earned "Outstanding" honors (4.00-3.71 GPA), 10 took "Superior" accolades (3.70-3.41 GPA) and four garnered "Excellent" honors (3.40-3.20 GPA).
Brown's eight "Outstanding" honorees were junior Filip Aleksic, senior Leo Berkman, sophomore Simeon Dong, freshman Daniel Hadar, freshman Daniel Khristich, freshman Kole Newman, freshman Trey Rogers and junior Mike Winther.
The Bears' "Superior" honorees included senior Cole Atwell, junior Nick Berry, junior Max Boucher, junior Connor Enright, junior Joe Gallagher, junior Thomas Hoffmeister, sophomore Ben Kirshon, junior Evan Moore, senior Maxwell Patterson and senior Matt Simko.
Sophomore Gabe Chang, sophomore Ben Resko, freshman Roberto Serrano and freshman Ilias Stothart were the four "Excellent" honorees for Brown.
Brown finished the season with a 16-16 overall record and finished fourth in the NWPC Tournament.
