2022: Finished the season with 22 goals and was tied for second on the team with 28 assists ... Added 15 steals, five field blocks and two exclusions drawn ... Had four assists, two goals and a steal against Gannon (Sept. 3) ... Finished with three assists against Harvard (Oct. 8) ... Tallied four goals with a steal against San Jose State (Oct. 22) ... 2021: Named NWPC Sophomore of the Year and Second Team All-NWPC ... Finished the season with 57 goals and 57 assists to lead the Bears with 107 points ... Personal: Filip is the son of Dijana and Dragan Aleksic; Dragan played water polo professionally … Has one older brother, Stefan, who played water polo at Bucknell University … Plans to concentrate in Applied Mathematics – Economics.

Why Brown? “I chose Brown mainly because of the academic rigor and the opportunity to play water polo. I am confident that the open curriculum will allow me to forge my own path and do the things that I am passionate about, while being surrounded by ardent people. In addition, I believe that the water polo team will be a great fit for me, since the team's values align to those that I live by.”
