Women's Lacrosse Travels to #5 Boston College Wednesday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's lacrosse team will travel to No. 5 Boston College for a 3 p.m. matchup this Wednesday, March 8.
The Bears and Eagle will face off inside the Fish Field House, the Eagles' indoor facility. The game is not open to the public, but will be streamed live on ACCNX.

Scouting the Bears
- Brown took down Harvard last time out to open the Ivy portion of their schedule with a win. Seven different players scored a goal, led by hat tricks by Annie Burton and Maddie Joyce.
- The Bears' scoring defense of 7.0 goals per game leads the Ivy League and is seventh in the nation.
- Freshman goalie Claire Mahoney's save percentage of .553 also leads the Ivy League and is seventh in the nation.
- All five of BC's games to this point in season have been against ranked competition. They've defeated No. 18 USC, No. 23 UMass, and No. 10 Duke, while falling to #5 Northwestern and #1 North Carolina.
- Mckenna Davis' 14 assists lead the Eagles and are tied for 11th in the country.
- BC fell to #1 UNC last time out. The Eagles have not dropped two games in a row since 2016.
- Last season, then-No. 1 Boston College came to Providence and beat the Bears 15-9. Brown held an early 2-1 lead, but the Eagles scored the next seven straight to take control and the eventual victory.
