Women's Water Polo Returns Home for Three Conference Games this Weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's water polo returns home for three CWPA games over the weekend. The No. 21 Bears will take on Saint Francis, Michigan and Bucknell.
Brown will start the weekend with a game against Saint Francis on Saturday at 10 a.m. before finishing up the day against Michigan at 4 p.m. The weekend will close out with a game against Bucknell at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
All three games will be streamed on ESPN+.
ABOUT BROWN
Brown comes into the weekend with an 18-6 record but is 0-2 in its first two conference games. The Bears finished up a 4-2 trip to California on Wednesday, falling to No. 7 Long Beach State and No. 6 UC Irvine.
ABOUT SAINT FRANCIS
Saint Francis is 11-15-1 on the season and 2-2 in CWPA play. Saint Francis is coming off wins against California Lutheran and Bucknell.
Last season, Brown won both games against Saint Francis, winning 7-3 in the first game and 11-8 in the second meeting.
ABOUT MICHIGAN
Michigan is 16-8 on the season and 4-0 in conference play. The Wolverines are ranked No. 13 in the latest CWPA Varsity Poll. An overtime loss to No. 15 Pacific snapped a six-game win streak.
Michigan won both meetings last season, taking the first 14-5 and the second 11-6.
ABOUT BUCKNELL
Bucknell is 5-18 on the season and 0-4 in conference play. The Bison are on a six-game losing streak coming into the weekend. The last win for Bucknell came back on Feb. 25 against Siena.
Brown won both games against Bucknell last season, winning 12-7 at Bucknell and 8-6 at home.
