Women's Lacrosse Set for Matchup with #11 Notre Dame

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's lacrosse team will take on No. 11 Notre Dame this Monday, March 27 at 4 p.m. in Indiana. It will be the first-ever meeting between the Bears and Fighting Irish.
The game will be broadcast live on ACCNX.

Scouting the Bears (5-3, 2-0 Ivy)
- The Bears are coming off their two best offensive performances of the season after putting up 21 and 19 goals in wins over Bryant and Columbia respectively.
- Annie Burton led the Bears with nine points across the two games from eight goals and one assist. Claire Jeschke (4G, 4A) and Greta Criqui (7G, 1A) both had eight points.
- Following the Columbia game, Emmie Lau was averaging 3.0 ground balls, 2.13 caused turnovers, and 5.63 draw controls per game. All three marks were good enough to lead the Ivy League.
- Notre Dame is coming off a 16-13 loss to No. 12 Virginia. The Fighting Irish trailed by seven late in the fourth quarter when they rattled off four quick goals to pull within three, but that's as close as they would get.
- Including the game against Virginia, three of Notre Dame's last five opponents have been nationally ranked. They fell to then-No. 2 Syracuse 15-7 after taking down then-No. 11 Duke 14-6.
- Notre Dame's offense comes in ranked 12th in the nation at 15.25 goals per game.
