Sailing Claims Trio of Top Three Finishes

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown sailing teams completed another weekend of competition where they claimed three top-three finishes across three events.

The women's team came in third out of 12 teams at the St. Mary's Women's Team Race with a 9-2 record. Brielle Willoughby, Blaire McCarthy, Caroline Bayless, Francesca Edmands, Brianna Ross, Kaitlyn Hamilton, Savannah Young, and Helen Horangic competed for Brown.

The women also came in second out of four teams at the Franny Charles Team Race. Sailing for the Bears were Charlotte Costikyan, Emily Mueller, Katherine McNamara, Katharine Doble, Catherine Morrissette, Sierra Bornheim, Talia Levine, and Janelle Li.

At the coed team's lone event of the weekend, they had a pair of teams take second and fourth out of 10 teams. The second-place team consisted of Guthrie Braun, Jed Bell, Liam O'Keefe, Connor Nelson, Lily Shore, Emily Mueller, Nora Ong, and Isabel Cox. The fourth-place team was Hunter Zonnenberg, William George, Leyton Borcherding, Mason Stang, Menasha Leport, Hannah Sellers, and Caroline Keeffe-Jones.
