Third-Seeded Open Sailing Set to Begin ICSA Fleet Race Nationals

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The third-seeded Brown open sailing team is set to compete in the Inter-collegiate College Sailing Association (ICSA) Open Fleet Race National Championship this week in St. Petersburg, Fla. The event consists of the top 36 open teams in college sailing.

The Open Fleet Race National Semifinal will take place from May 19-20, followed by the Championship from May 21-22. The Bears will look to finish within the top nine over the first two days of competition, to move on to the Championship races. The event will be hosted by USF, and will take place at SkyBeach Resort.

Brown finished sixth overall at the College Sailing Open Fleet Race National Championship last year.
