Women's Lacrosse Set to Take On Sacred Heart

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's lacrosse team will travel to Sacred Heart this Saturday, March 11 at 1 p.m. for a nonconference matchup.
The game is scheduled to be broadcast live on NEC Front Row.

Scouting the Bears (2-2)
- Annie Burton has led the Bears over the previous two games with six points from five goals and one assist. She had a four-point game against Harvard last Saturday before scoring twice against the No. 5 Eagles.
- Burton and Mia Mascone are the only two Bears to record at least one point in all four games to start the season. Mascone's eight goals and 11 points both lead Brown.
- Emmie Lau leads the Bears in both draw controls and caused turnovers with 16 and 7 respectively.
- Sacred Heart picked up its first win of the season last time out with a 14-8 win over New Hampshire. Lydia Werlau led the Pioneers with eight points from seven goals and one assist.
- Werlau leads the team on the season as well with 21 goals and 23 points.
- As a team, SHU has scored 10.67 goals a game, but has allowed 13.33.
- The last time these two teams faced off was back in 2019, a 17-2 Brown victory.
- Claire Jeschke, then a freshman, had three points from one goal and two assists.
