
Women's Lacrosse Hosts UAlbany in Home Opener

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown women's lacrosse team will play their first home game of the season this Saturday, Feb. 25 at 12 p.m. when they welcome UAlbany to Stevenson-Pincince Field.
Both teams will be looking to build off wins in their most recent outings.
The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.

Scouting the Bears (1-0)
- Brown opening its season with a 10-7 win over Hofstra on the road. The Bears trailed 6-5 with five minutes remaining in the third quarter, but used a 5-0 run over the next ten minutes to take control and claim the win.
- Freshman goalie Claire Mahoney was strong in her debut, making 11 saves.
- Mia Mascone picked up where she left off last year and led the Bears with three goals against the Pride. Claire Jeschke, Annie Burton, and Julia Ford all scored twice. The two goals were career-highs for both Ford and Burton.
- Albany opened the season with a pair of losses to then-No. 20 John Hopkins and Cornell, before taking down Fairfield in their most recent contest.
- On the season, Katie Pascale leads the team in all three categories with 10 goals, nine assists, and 19 points. She is tied for the team lead with Haley Phalines with 20 draw controls.
