Four Football Student-Athletes Named CSC Academic All-District

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown football team has landed four student-athletes on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team, the organization announced on Tuesday.
Seniors Austin Alley and Isaiah Gamble, along with juniors Stockton Owen and Caleb Moorhead were all selected to the team.
In addition, Moorhead was selected as a CSC Academic All-America finalist and will now advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. The Academic All-America winners will be announced on January 23, 2024.
To be eligible for Academic All-District recognition, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 on a 4.00 scale, compete in 90 percent of the institution's games or start in at least 66 percent of the team's contests.
Brown finished the 2023 regular season 5-5 overall and tied for fifth (3-4) in the Ivy League, its highest league placement since 2016.
