Women's Basketball Heads to Holy Cross for Thursday Matchup

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women's basketball hits the road for the first time this season as the Bears travel to Holy Cross on Thursday (Nov. 9).
The game will tip-off at 7 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+ for fans who can't make the trip to Worcester.

SCOUTING BROWN
- The Bears are coming off a season-opening loss to Florida Gulf Coast at home on Monday (Nov. 6). Brown was led in scoring by both Kyla Jones and Grace Arnolie, who each scored 13 points.
- Arnolie reached double-figures for the eighth-straight game dating back to last season. Arnolie also pulled down a career-high seven rebounds against the Eagles.
- Olivia Young scored six points in her Brown debut, hitting both threes she attempted.
- Alyssa Moreland scored eight points and pulled down four rebounds.
- Brown held a 34-24 advantage on points in the paint against Florida Gulf Coast but the Eagles outscored the Bears by 33 from three-point range (16-5).
- Holy Cross is 0-1 on the season after falling to Boston College, 66-61 on opening night. The Crusaders held a three-point lead after three quarters but were outscored by nine in the fourth.
- Bronagh Power-Cassidy led Holy Cross with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Simone Foreman also had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Janelle Allen finished the game with 12 points.
- Holy Cross leads the all-time series 7-3 but the two teams have split the last four meetings with the road team winning all four.
- Brown's three wins over the Crusaders have come by a total of 10 points, including a two-point win in 2021, the last time these two teams met in Worcester.
